FAQs

How does it work?

It’s quite easy and straight-forward. You can submit a custom Shopify task request using our chat via Facebook at the bottom of the site, or filling the contact form. Our accounting department will follow up with you the invoice so you can pay with your credit cards online. Once the payment is made, we will send you into our task dashboard using private Trello business class, where all the work and communication with developers is handled.

What do you mean by a small task?

Our focus as a team is on doing small Shopify tasks, really fast without compromising quality. 

We understand “small” definition may vary by different people. For us, a small task can be completed within one or 2 hour of working, including communication. If the task you provide is big and can last more than 2 hours, we will need to top up task tickets to be able to complete your task.

I have a long list of small tasks, can you do this?

Of course we can!

You can queue up your tasks inside your assigned Trello tasks dashboard. However, we will work one task at one time, per Shopify store, per the listed turn-around period, including the time it can take to review any comments and feedbacks we receive from you.

If it took us too long (more than 2 business days) to receive your confirmation for previous tickets, we will close those previous tickets as they are completed. In addition, if you keep modifying the changes of completed tickets and keep adding more requirements in the ticket after a developer finished his development, we may not accept if it takes our developer more than 1 hour to adjust, may require that we end your service.

What does "next business day" turnaround time mean?

This means that our developers will start and complete the “First deliverable” of your small task before the end of the following business day.

You can check the due date in your Active Task list of your assigned Trello tasks dashboard. It often takes additional time for revisions, fixes or unforeseen changes to the tasks. We always try to deliver before the turn-around times.

Can I get a refund?

If this is the first time you work with Vanntechs Web Studio, you will need to sign the service agreement (online signing) which will include all terms and conditions, job scope..

If the ticket is not started yet, you will get the full refund. For example if you purchased 3 tickets and the first ticket is not started yet (based on the ticket’s status on Trello tasks board), then we will send to you the full refund of 3 tickets.

If we’ve started the ticket, you will get the refund for tickets that haven’t started but not the ticket we’ve started.

If you purchase the Pro subscription plan, we will refund to you the current month price. For example, you purchase the Pro plan from Jan to March and on March, you want to cancel. We will send to you the full refund amount of March only. If we’ve started a ticket, then the refund amount would be the full refund amount deduct the single ticket’s price. Please notice that all carry-on tickets will be removed if you cancel your Pro package.

What if I don't use 5 tickets in one month?

You will be given 5 tickets to use every month if you purchase our Pro subscription plan. Your tickets balance will rollover and remain available as long as your subscription remains active. Upon cancellation, these tickets will expire. If you wish to preserve your tickets balance, you may keep your account under the maintenance plan for CA36 per month. Chat with us to activate your maintenance plan.
